$10,000 for research on self-identity and academics
The American Psychological Foundation (APF) Kenneth B.
and Mamie P. Clark Grant provides up to $10,000 to support
graduate student research and demonstration activities that
promote the understanding of the relationship between self-identity and academic achievement, with an emphasis on
children in grades K–8. The proposal deadline is June 15.

$5,000 for research on stigma
The APF Violet and Cyril Franks Scholarship provides up
to $5,000 to support graduate-level research that uses a
psychological perspective to help understand and reduce stigma
associated with mental illness. The proposal deadline is

Up to $5,000 for graduate student research
APF and the Council of Graduate Departments of Psychology
provide 16 scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 for
psychology graduate student research. The application

APA’s Science Directorate offers several grants of up to $5,000
and 30 to 40 grants of $1,000 each for dissertation research
